Few Changes!

The computer desk that had been sitting in my room for months just recently got moved out by my dad and I, and I finally cleaned up the place for once. It's looking rather nice and finally somewhat spacious. Despite still having a CRT television, everything is good. I now know what people were talking about with the Xbox having very small text in a lot of games. Staring at the items in Resident Evil 5 was killing my eyes! Going back through my small library of games was both aggravating and fun.

Two games that looked awesome on CRT were Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Mega Man 9. That's really gotten me back into SotN, actually. I just unlocked the Inverted Castle and am getting my ass kicked. Just when I thought that game was unbelievably easy, it reaches into my chest and rips my god damn heart out.

Oddly enough, watching a lot of "House" marathons has made me want to put Trauma Center back into the Wii. We'll see about that. You may or may not have noticed that I've been indenting my paragraphs in previous blog posts. Well guess what? Who the hell does that? I removed all of the indentions and am not going to be doing it from now on.

If my posts are getting shorter and shorter, you can blame Twitter for that.

Windows Live on Xbox 360

I've been organizing my email addresses as of late, switching over to a newer Windows Live ID, and have come to realize the messenger within the Xbox 360 does not use your display picture or personal message that has been set from Windows Live on your computer. I also find it annoying that to actually change your display name (the one used on the 360) you have to do so from the web version of "MSN Messenger."

Assuming the console uses an older version of this messenger, I understand the lack of options, but it would be a nice improvement to let users choose this kind of visual for their console chatting. Leave a comment if you know anything about what I'm saying or have information on any new updates regarding Windows Live on the console.

Update: It seems as though this web messenger, a proper Windows Live web messenger, could be the answer to my small problem. However, I'm getting nothing but Errors when signing in.

Twitter

Quick update: Twitter was being slow on the recovery so I went ahead and made a fresh name. Follow me if you dare/care, and to answer your question, yes I'm rockin' the no pants! Don't judge me, friendo.

KOF XII

Apparently King of Fighters 12 has a worldwide release of July. That's good news, but even better news is that, despite the recent trailer being stamped with PS3 and ARCADE, it's also going to be coming to XBOX 360.

This hand drawn beauty will no doubt be a part of my collection, but I gotta say, I really miss seeing the other two opponents sitting beside each other and waiting for their turn in the backgrounds in some of the earlier years. I always thought that was a smart idea for team based fighters.

Say what you will about KOF 2006, or the other somewhat recent PS2 versions of the 2D franchise, but I thought they were so much fun. They were doing what SFIV does now, then. In all honesty, I prefer SNK's art style, even though Ash is a complete weirdo.

#2 "Thought Wrap-Up"

So, I've'nt (yeah I just did that there) been blogging much lately because of STREET FIGHTER IV. I'm absolutely addicted to this game at the moment. Fei Long and I are best friends now, but Sakura likes to hang out from time to time. It's the best fighting game I've played so let's leave it at that.

Jimmy Fallon's new show starts Monday. I'm going to be watching that, and so are you, if you know what's good for ya'.

Oh yeah, I got INCREDIBAD. It's hilarious; best album 2009. I didn't feel like updating this with pictures or anything, but you know what it looks like, right? Go listen to it; go buy it; go get bent!

I think I'm going to start using Twitter again. You know, mostly for following people! I'm more interested in what other people are doing these days anyway. My account is being (hopefully) restored. I had a little problem with Twitter last time, and destroyed it. I'm counting on them to glue the pieces back together so I can get this thing going.

As you can read here, not much has been going on. I apologize for that, but you know how it goes, yeah? Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll stop blogging this nonsense and go play more SF4.

INCREDIBAD

This is the first album I've bought in over two years. If you're not familiar with The Lonely Island, then follow the link on the title of this post. To everyone else: Jorm, Kiv, and Andy are finally ready to release to you INCREDIBAD. Estimated Delivery February 13th; Release Date 4 Hours 30 Minutes! :)

If you want the promo poster, or even the vinyl version, it's going to cost you more, but Amazon has the basic 2 Disc Album now for $9.99. The second disc is a DVD with the music videos, most of which you (hopefully) have seen on SNL. It seems to have been a great year for The Lonely Island, and I'm so glad that this album is being released now. Fans have been waiting for this a long time.

I'll update once it gets here. I hope Jason Vorhees delivers it so that I can get some free tickets to his new movie.

Here's what you can expect from the Dudes:

Paradise DLC

Finally, a game that releases its new retail content on marketplace DLC for purchasers of the original edition! I've really enjoyed this game, but have yet to snag all of the vehicles and billboards. Burnout Paradise is sort of a unique way of letting players meet up online by making everything super easy and accessible. The DLC that dropped today is the "Party Pack" that lets you and your friends burn through a set of games on the same television. You remember the feeling of letting someone play on your save file, hoping they wouldn't start unlocking your cars or mess with your stats somehow? Argh! This totally cleans that up by giving everyone in the room a turn on the controller in its own mode.

If you're as much as a fan of movies as I am, you'll also appreciate the Legendary Car Pack coming out in the following days. You get the Ghostbusters, Back to The Future, Night Rider, and even Dukes of Hazard car? Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Don't forget the Toys Pack...okay?! Did I forget the island they've been working on? Yeah, Criterion's kinda got it going on. Like I said, if you own the original, don't worry about it because you've got the DLC here to choose from. Anyone who has yet to own Burnout Paradise: get on that! The new box's subtitle is named The Ultimate Box, so keep an eye out in stores.

I promise I'll let you know what I think of it as soon as I get my hands on a points card.
